Senior Director of Human Resources (Dallas, TX)
Veritix is looking for a talented Senior Director of Human Resources to lead and manage the Human Resources (HR) department. This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced, leading edge organization in the dynamic sports and entertainment market space. The successful candidate will be a key member of an experienced executive management team. He/she will set department strategy and be responsible for its execution. This position will be in charge of the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the company's Human Resources department, responsible for coordinating HR policies and programs, with emphasis in, but not limited to, recruitment and employment, recordkeeping and compliance, and team member relations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven years in HR and benefits administration experience.
Responsibilities
- Administer HR services including, but not limited to, recruitment and selection, promotions, transfers, federal, state and local compliance, performance evaluation, and team member relations
- Manage the hiring process, including recruitment and interviews
- Develop and manage new hire orientation and follow-up program for new team members to assure understanding of the organization and its culture
- Develop, implement, and maintain personnel policies, procedures and team member handbook, and distribute throughout the organization
- Maintain and expand knowledge and understanding of existing and proposed federal and state laws/regulations affecting HR management
- Participate in the investigation and resolution of ongoing team member relations problems, anticipate problems whenever possible, and develop, recommend and initiate appropriate steps for resolution
- Design and administer benefit plans
- Research labor laws and employment issues
- Process newly hired employees
- Communicate with other departments regarding all facets of Human Resources
- Maintain highly confidential information
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably with special focus in Human Resource Management
- At least seven years of experience in Human Resource management
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, particularly relative to employment/employee relations in CA, OH and TX
- Ability to effectively manage Human Resources services for employees at multiple office locations
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification is a plus
- Working knowledge of basic principles and best practices in HR administration
- Strong written, verbal, analytical and problem solving skills
- Superior interpersonal skills
- Experience in entrepreneurial, early stage environments a plus
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations that affect benefits (e.g., COBRA, FMLA, ERISA) is a plus
- Ability to travel to various company locations throughout the U.S. as needed.

You will answer inbound phone inquiries about entertainment and sports events and sell tickets to various entertainment venues.
Flexible Scheduling
Part-time opportunity. Up to 25 hours weekly at our Far North Dallas/Plano call center. We’re open Monday to Saturday 8:00 am to 9:00 pm CT and Sunday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm CT. You provide your “availability to work schedule,” and shifts are assigned based on business needs and seniority.

The successful candidate will be responsible for system-level testing of software platforms and infrastructure, through writing test plans, testing specifications and certifying requirements.

Veritix is currently looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer who is going to validate the next generation fan life-cycle management services for the sports and entertainment industries. We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with experience testing e-commerce and enterprise software systems. Experience in building automation framework is desirable. You will be a key contributor responsible for all aspects of product testing including definition, implementation, validation, interpreting and communicating results.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent
- Experience building automation framework that would test the product as a system, which involves using scripting tools such as Perl, Python, Jython and UI automation tools such as Quick Test Pro, SilkTest or WinRunner
- 5+ years testing enterprise systems
- 2+ years testing high-volume/high-traffic production websites
- Experience testing at least one of: transactional systems, scalable servers, search technologies, or e-commerce systems
- Experience developing UI performance/load tests using tools such as LoadRunner or SilkPerformer
- Must be able to generate detail test specification

The successful candidate will demonstrate end-to-end ownership of opportunity identification and assessment, product design and specification, project management and product marketing. - Strong technical background.
- Experience writing user stories, product requirements, or similar technical requirements documents.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understands how to visualize and present complex data.
