Senior Software Engineer

Veritix is currently looking for a highly technical Senior Software Engineer to be part of a team that is building the next generation fan life-cycle management services for the sports and entertainment industries. Veritix patented system provides electronic ticketing, simplified entry for events, and reduced costs and increased revenues for the teams, venues, and artists. We are a rapidly growing, well funded company providing solutions that are revolutionizing the industry.
We are looking for a passionate, talented software engineer with experience building highly scalable web, e-commerce, and enterprise software systems.
Required Qualifications
- 6-8 years overall software development/architecture experience with a BS in CS or equivalent. (MS or PhD a plus)
- 4+ years web application / web services architecture and development
- Experience building high-volume/high-traffic production websites that handle large data sets
- Proficient in .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, remoting, assemblies, ADO.NET etc.)
- Strong knowledge of software design patterns and experience working in all application tiers (data, business, presentation)
- Experience developing at least one of the following: transactional systems, scalable servers, search technologies, or e-commerce systems
- Experience with Windows CE, PocketPC, .NET Compact Framework, and Symbol Technologies and products are a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced startup environment
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Highly motivated, strong team player, and the ability to work independently with little supervision
